Review on YGEOMER Floating Carbonized Multifunctional Wall Mounted by Kelly Haywood

The wood is beautifully finished in a carbonised finish. And the corner brackets are very well constructed and strong. I really needed a shelf to carry a 25 lb mini tower computer. I wasn't sure what size I would need so multiple sizes in the pack was great. The wood is similar to the linden tree used for modelling. It is very light but very durable. They literally only send four boards; The pilot holes are not drilled, the wood is sanded but not varnished [charred raw wood only]. The wood is soft enough that the screws can easily be punctured and screwed in. For weight reasons, I made sure to mount the brackets on the underside so gravity can help. The supplied screws are a bit short and do not sit flush with the bracket because the screw head is tapered. Structurally it looks good, an aesthetically thoughtful replacement for the screws. The screw kit also includes plaster or drywall anchors to attach to the wall. I replaced the wall anchors with stronger ones than the ones supplied (because I was using a higher shelf weight limit. Just for a book or two or a photo frame the supplied hardware would probably work). ** Take your time and check the dimensions and height before screwing on the brackets. **Perhaps this is the most difficult part of your installation. Overall I am very happy with the shelves and the wood finish is very nice. I'm glad I have her.
