Here's the thing: if money were no object most of us would buy a real solid wood dresser. But because I'm po' (grin), I chose these fabric boxes. They're actually pretty cute and go well with what I use them for. a filing cabinet of sorts for my voluminous medical records as well as a semi-organized handle for all the drawers for things I don't know where to put. I only gave the assembly 4 stars because the screws for the drawer handles were packed with glue. Blackboard. something like sticky traps for mice. They were a real pain to get the glue off and I had to scrape the paper off most of them. However, it was easy to assemble. It took about an hour and a half but that's because I have traumatic brain injury and my right arm isn't working well. Someone else has to install it and have it ready in 20 minutes. Maybe less. I read a review where someone described a chemical smell. That's right. Maybe it's the glue trap. I do not know. BUT, the bad smell will go away. I lean mine against the wall next to the bed. It has a large ceramic table lamp and some books. So far it's looking pretty strong to me.
