📀 Enhanced Entertainment Experience: Sony PS3 Blu-ray DVD Disc Player with Full HD 1080p Upconversion, Built-in Wi-Fi, and CubeCable 6Ft High Speed HDMI Cable Review

I only use it to watch American DVDs and Blu-rays. Here in Northern Europe I could only find Blu-Ray players for Blu-Ray discs from the European region. I thought the whole point of Blu-Ray discs was that they were multi-regional, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Very good blu-ray player. MUCH lighter and smaller than my old one which finally stopped working after many years of faithful service. I hope this SONY will do the same. My only complaint (hence demoted one star) is the remote's small size and its tiny buttons, not good for the elderly.

The DVD player works fine but every time I try to use Netflix or Amazon it tells me there is no internet connection. After a few reboots and tweaks (each time) it finally connects and works fine. It's too late to return it, I won't buy it again.

Batman's sacred false advertising. We only bought this to stream content to our bedroom TV and the only app we actually watch is Netflix. Not Revain, not Disney Plus, not Hulu. THIS WAS STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION AND IS THE ONLY REASON WE BUY THIS MODEL. It was up and running literally within 25 minutes when it came back.

I want to start by saying that I bought this to be able to stream playstation 3 games you can't do that you won't let it has a playstation video where you can buy movies and tv shows , but that's it, when you connect to the controller it doesn't do anything. I think this feature doesn't exist anymore after some research I did. And it has many apps but not 3000 sorry 300 apps as it claims it could be 40 or 50 and not the ones you need. If you have a Smart TV, any problems that this device might have in this area are irrelevant. Playing discs, whether DVD or Blu-ray, is expectedly easy with excellent picture quality. However, one problem is that lately the player freezes and in addition stubbornly turns on or off when it is on. I would refuse to be thrown out. On the web, Sony suggested a rather cryptic solution (unplug for 30 seconds, then press and hold the eject button while power is restored, then unplug and plug back in…

Use less than 3 months. It worked great at first, but I can't get it to work anymore. And due to the coronavirus situation, Sony's normally excellent customer service is all but non-existent. I emailed them hoping someone would get back to me. I generally prefer Sony products for their quality and customer service. If Sony changes, I have to change too. That's very disappointing.
