Review on Command BATH17-ES-E 051141958392 Towel Hook: Clear Frosted, Water-Resistant 1-Hook with Large Strip (BATH17-ES) by Paul Curington

I bought this product because the packaging says the swim strips are waterproof. I've used many hooks with no problems. I wanted waterproof strips because the bathroom can get very steamy when showering. I cleaned the wall and hung it a few days ago. I waited 24 hours and then hung a towel there. The towel was supposed to be well under the £5 rating so I didn't expect any problems. Well, there's a big problem. It fell off the wall this morning and the paint with it. I live in what seems like a place where there are strict rules about drilling holes in the wall. Well, that's a lot worse than just hanging a regular towel hook. Swim strips are not as steam resistant as the description makes them out to be. Also, there is only 1 stripe. So if you make a mistake when hanging, you're out of luck. I will never buy them.
