My daughter found this comfortable but wasn't wearing a belt. We usually buy a French toast pan that comes out of the dryer perfect, it always looked like it needed ironing, which I don't do for a preschooler who doesn't care and is just going to play. Also, it looks normal when it's on, which just bothered me. I also found it to run small even though my daughter is quite lanky so it could just be her body type and not the dress itself. If you can get it for a good price it's worth it.
