Overall I like these banana wire ends. I like that they are solid copper, I like that they take up to 4 gauge AWG wire (not common) and that they have a thick gold plating. What I don't like is that the set screws tend to strip (probably brass) and don't tighten as much as desired. The method they use to apply pressure to hold them in place in the speaker jack is with a spring-loaded wire that runs along the "banana" post. It tends to flex and reduce the pressure it puts on the jack, reducing the "hold" of the banana in the speaker. I would have preferred a "lock" banana plug, but I couldn't find one on the market that would fit such a large conductor (4 AWG) and I wouldn't have to mortgage my house to buy it. You will work well for me during this time. Maybe one day I'll solder them in place.
