The ax is relatively light and well made. dampened vinyl or higher quality vinyl would hold up better. I suggest using masking tape, e.g. B. for a baseball bat to wrap the handles over the handle. I was able to drive the ax into softer wood, but it's light and cardboard on a target stand will work just fine. About 4-6 sheets out of a regular box and they stick easily. I think from the start it's more for children with adult supervision or for playing in the garden but the blades are great quality.
