It's actually better to just take notes because it works on a wide range of iPad models and other devices, making it a better buy than a real Apple Pencil. It has a very long battery life and as long as the application or office program allows any kind of marking/drawing, it works perfectly. I haven't been able to get it to work as a capacitive device, but if that is rarely required in modern applications. Overall a great product and a great price for Revain.
