Honest opinion. Go one size up, stretches nicely but does shrink
Bought these shirts for our family photos at the beach. The shirts are well made and very cute. My 7.5 year old son with SPD [sensory processing disorder] said they were so comfortable! My only complaint is that they run small. My 7 year old wears an 8 and my 4 year old wears a 5T very well in shirts. This shirt runs a bit small in a size 8 and 5 so I would suggest going up a size or two as it fits like a 7 and 4 but after washing and drying it becomes a size 6 and 3.
