We bought a 2020 Toyota Tacoma LE for my wife to replace her 2004 Avalon. My wife didn't like all the extra tech on the center console on the new Avalons. We tested the Camry and she liked the simpler audio setup. However, the 2020 Tacomas does not have a CD player. I have found several videos of people installing a CD player in cars without a CD player. They cautioned against determining which version would fit the year and model of the car. I bought a version 2 cd player and connected a store bought usb cable to the car audio console and cd player. I followed the instructions to get the car recognized by the system. It worked well. I installed a CD player in the center console.
