My 10 month old cat was kidnapped by her sister while playing. It was on her neck. I got some ointment from the vet and she treated me well but she scratched him so every time he seemed to heal well she scratched him again. I wanted to put a collar on her to hide the stain but it was too high. I figured I'd have to put a cone on her so she wouldn't scratch it, so I bought this one. It was quite big on her face as it should be, but she really didn't need it. kind of cover. All I needed was a soft piece that I put around her neck to cover the boil, so I cut off almost all of the plastic from that cone and put a soft collar around her neck. It's much better because she can play, walk and eat in it. I'll leave it on for a while until the cut heals. He looks better today than yesterday, so it definitely helps. Very happy with it.
