I received this belt to replace my husband's everyday (non-business) belt, the he had been there for so long none of us can remember where or when he came from. His waistband is 34 so I took the advice suggested here and ordered him a 36. Although it suits him perfectly, he would get along just fine at 34. But even with the extra length, this belt fits perfectly and looks great. This is a long strip of thick leather, not pressed or glued. The entire item is leather - there is no brown color inside due to surface stains. I chose this belt over other similar styles because the buckle didn't look super shiny silver (which isn't his style) and in real life lives up to that impression. He has a slightly desperate look and does not attract attention. He had no problem with the belt snagging in his loops, and he didn't stain his brown work trousers. The leather, although thick, was soft and comfortable straight out of the box (like a drawer - a very cool presentation for a belt!), and he's been wearing it every day since I gave it to him. This is a big endorsement as he usually has to wean himself off his old favorite things. Haven't seen the old belt since this new one came along. Thick leather, one-piece construction, and a strong buckle ensure this belt will last you a long time. I would follow the sizing advice and order from your pant size to ensure you don't tug on the belt and accelerate it to wear out. Great price for a super belt without clothes. I highly recommend it.
