These things are great. I only wear them when I sleep and...

This is exactly what I needed. My heels are always dry and cracked. These things are great. I only wear them to sleep and in the morning my heels are as soft as a baby's. My heels get so bad they start ruining my comforters and sheets while I sleep, this has solved this problem. Also, I don't wear socks to bed, but I had no problem wearing them to bed. I didn't use them for walking so I'm not sure how it would work.
