Flexible yet soft in pillows and positioning aids

It's like a soft forearm under your neck. It's comfortable, but not what I expected. It's soft but springy. That is, it deforms easily, but quickly returns to its original shape. When you lie on it, it doesn't take the shape of your head/neck. Instead, your neck always pushes down and always backwards. It's more comfortable than I thought it would be, but a little more than what would be ideal for me. It works though, and I'm pretty picky.
