Before purchasing this item, there are a few things to note: 1) The assembly instructions are in the wrong order. I had to remove the racks from the shelves when attaching them to the left and right parts of the base. Assembled shelves cannot be mounted in a rack. I had to undo a few screws and reassemble. There was pain in (empty). In other words, steps 3 and 5 must be completed after step 7. 2) There is a paper template in the box where you will drill the screw holes. First, why not drill the holes at the factory? Second, nowhere does it say the size of the drill to use. I figured this out by comparing the size of the screw to the size of the drill bit. Third. I glued the square template to the shelf where I then drilled the holes (being careful not to go all the way through the chipboard and make a mess when you get through on the other side). I tried attaching the uprights to the shelves only to find that the holes in the uprights didn't line up with the holes drilled in the template. Had to re-drill a few to get them to fit/align properly. 3) The instructions refer to "03*12". I do not know what that means. Maybe the size of the drill in meters? Check out the attached photos to see what I'm talking about. Once assembled it was a decent piece of furniture, but assembling it was a major hassle for the reasons stated above.
