Difficult to assemble without a skilled person (and foresight)! Also, the pre-drilled holes don't line up as well as I'd like (IKEA is better). So don't tighten the screws until everything is aligned as best as possible. The tricky part is assembling the boards on both sides and holding them all together until the side legs are bolted down (which will hold the bottom together for the rest of the build). It's not too difficult if one side is laid on the floor with the center bar and center/side leg already attached. Then have another person hold the other side while someone inserts all of the boards into their slots, starting on one side and working toward the other end. While a helper holds the entire bed, use 2 ratchet straps (or even 2 ropes) to hold the entire structure together until the remaining side leg can be screwed onto the center pole.
