You would be right to think that $80 for half a sock is mugging. But you still decide to order them because your physical therapist is in awe of how great they are. And then it comes and you start wearing it and before you know it you're telling everyone who will hear how good these socks are. I had a fibula tear and my ankle was terribly swollen due to soft tissue damage done by Dr. Frankenstein caused. That was 6 months ago and the swelling is a daily reminder to never return to this hospital. This compression sleeve is a cat meow. Worth the asking price. Bauerfeind has a size chart on their website, google it and you'll find it easily. The size is just right for me, maybe a little big. If I had to do it again I would downsize, but that's not enough to stop me from enjoying it. I've been wearing it daily for about 3 months and I think I'll get a new one soon. With all the on and off, the elastic at the ends gradually becomes less effective, but in the ankle area it's still nice and strong and works as it should. It's comfortable enough to wear all day if you have a few free vans, and you can easily sleep in it. $80 is a steal.
