To use these numbers, I bought a large donut-shaped ring of wire from my local craft store ($6). The inner (20") and outer (24") rings are held in place by loops of cross wire and can be easily removed by simply prying off the loops. Only two center rings are attached to the cross wires. After removing it, I attached the outer ring (24") to the shield (the Viper Defender I already had) with long staples, and then attached the numbers to that ring. The wire gauge is nearly perfect. Halfway through the ring, the snapped the Digits fixed, the other half required a strip of clear tape to add thickness.I removed the wired numbers from the board.Overall I like the openness of the presentation, the board doesn't feel as cluttered and the numbers are still familiar , but kind of on the side Hey, I got things to do when my Apple Watch tells me to get up.
