I have had this cable for over 4 years and have never used it except for test runs of devices. I currently have a Denon 4400 projector and a Sony vpl-55hwes. I installed 2 Monoprice Cabernet cables 45 and 50 feet in the wall. Installed 2 in case one fails at some point. Well after about a year or so I started having black flickering that came and went randomly. I would switch between inputs with these cables, but it would still happen randomly. Whether Tivo, PS4 or Rock. After that I thought it was a cable or a receiver. I chose the cheaper option and started using this cable. Well it's been a year now and no problems. Contrary to what they say, copper can sometimes last a long time if made right. They made it out of the right size copper. I can't speak for 4K, but if you're looking for a flat, reliable cable, give this a try.
