White one was better
I previously bought this mug in white and everything about it was perfect, especially that the handle did not get hot. However, the handle on this turquoise one gets noticeably hotter, almost too hot to touch, when I take it out of the microwave. I'm going to order another one, but in white, and keep my fingers crossed that the handle will be cooler. Maybe it's got something to do with the materials that give it the color.
