This is a really nice shirt that is also comfortable and functional. I chose navy blue (collar style) for my husband and the color is very pretty. It's dark but still distinctly blue; it is not dark blue that looks almost black. It's a lovely navy blue that goes well with my husband's slacks, especially khaki or grey. The fabric protects the skin from the sun but is not too hot or bulky. The texture of the fabric makes it very breathable. Because this shirt has long sleeves, it's perfect for spring or fall weather. Because the fabric is not bulky, it's also perfect for wearing under a jumper, sweatshirt or down vest on days when it's chilly at first but warms up in the afternoon. My husband will definitely wear this shirt in the fall and spring when he's golfing or hiking, but it looks so good (it's actually a long-sleeved polo shirt) that I see him wearing it to casual parties or to dinner at an ordinary restaurant . This shirt is made of polyester, which I like because it's easy to wash and machine dry. This shirt looks brand new with no shrinkage or fading. It dries well in the machine, but I still prefer to hang dry so the fabric lasts longer. I just hang it on a hanger and hang it on a hook to dry. This stuff dries instantly and I put it in the closet right away. Overall a great shirt! It looks great, fits great, feels great and is very functional. My husband loves this!
