The main use was hiking, which worked very well. Offers good UV protection and moisture absorption. Although the material is a bit thicker for wearing in the summer sun, the underarm vents are very effective at keeping you cool when the breeze blows. I have to say this is a great all purpose shirt. First, this shirt is made of 50 UPF and 100% polyester. In fact, it's thicker than ordinary fisherman's shirts, doesn't cling but still stretches and fits the body snugly. Even though it's thicker, it still breathes. Oh, did I mention it has a thumb hole to keep your shirt sleeve from riding up while you're fishing, and a zippered back pocket for a license or money. Very comfortable to wear even when not fishing.

This shirt is awesome! It's very comfortable and I've used it as an underlayer in cold weather. The thumb holes are perfect for covering most of my hands when fly fishing and running in the colder months. I think the shirt would also be perfect in the summer months to be worn alone as sun protection as the shirt is lightweight and breathable. The side pocket is also very practical. It can be used to store small items in any activity. I will use this shirt for all my outdoor activities.

The pocket appears to be inside out (you should put your hand in it so that it reaches back, not towards your stomach). My arms were too long too. However, dressing the shirt the wrong way solved both problems. It's screen printed so you can't even tell from the outside that I'm wearing it the wrong way. I don't know how they can advertise this shirt as "tactical". The fabric is a bit thin and not more abrasion resistant than other polo shirts. There is only one small (and fairly useless) chest pocket with no weapon or tool pockets. I love this shoulder design which gives me good freedom of movement and makes this shirt comfortable for fishing or golfing. I weigh 160 pounds and the medium fits me with a comfortable, relaxed fit.

This shirt is the right size for my needs, comfortable to wear and well made. The seams are even, sewn correctly. It wicks away moisture. I find the armpit panels a little more noticeable than the photos but I don't really have a problem with them as they work. I couldn't find out how well the SPF protection works.
