The main use was hiking, which worked very well. Offers good UV protection and moisture absorption. Although the material is a bit thicker for wearing in the summer sun, the underarm vents are very effective at keeping you cool when the breeze blows. But without the wind this shirt would be too bulky to wear in the warmer months in my opinion and the sleeves seem too long for this size, although it's meant to protect the arms from the sun.
