The first pair lasted more than a year with my 3 year old, in fact they still have a lot of life left. They're lightweight and keep my feet cool, they dry quickly, they're easy to put on and take off as the material stretches perfectly, the bottom is light and flexible yet strong enough for me to wear comfortably inside clothes. Farm/Forest etc. If a stone or something steps on your feet, don't hurt yourself :) Also, they are all sooooo cute! Received a second pair plus 3 to give away! :) by far the best water show I've found for kids
