Review on ZEUS Everyday Beard Grooming Verbena by Joy Berry

I received these products in the mail earlier this week and was very excited to read them based on the reviews. It comes in a large black tin with a canvas case, both have the company logo on them. First of all, once I got my hands on the real products, they felt a lot cheaper than the website made them believe. The packaging consists of very poor quality black plastic bottles resembling a dollar store. When I actually opened and used the shampoo and conditioner I found the scent very light and soapy. It smells like synthetics, not the all-natural ingredients the company seems to boast about. The smell of vanilla rum isn't bad, mostly because it's mild and not overpowering. Beard balm also reflects this. I have used balms from several other companies and they definitely seem to be better quality. Zeus Beard Balm is less oily and has a slightly drier feel in comparison, but I found I layered other products on top for a better scent and finish. My experience so far, especially the conditioner and shampoo. They help soften things without being the only thing I smell all day like some of the other hair/facial hair products I've used in the past and when the products are so good for sensitive skin, as Zeus advertises them, then that's a big plus as well. All in all if you want a complete package that is functional, not overpowering and suitable for more sensitive skin I would recommend it but at a premium price I would consider it a second choice and look elsewhere first.
