it works totally fine. Completely eliminates wrinkles. I've used it on thinner materials (like blouses and dresses) and thicker materials (like curtains). I have absolutely nothing to complain about in terms of functionality. I even like that it's small. You can definitely travel with it without any problems. However, the size is also a small problem. When you need to sew multiple pieces or a heavier fabric, you often have to stop to add water. It's actually a compromise. A smaller steamer makes it easier to travel, but you'll have to refill more. The most important thing is that it works well and if you are short on space then it will suit you perfectly.
