Review on Optoma OCM818W RU Universal Projector Accessory by Shane Picot

I used it to mount the Optoma HD27 projector on the ceiling. He does his job, but he's a jack of all trades; master of nothing. The HD27 has three attachment points; it has four arms. The projector couldn't be positioned properly (right over its center of gravity) and it took too long to arrange the mounts in a configuration that would get the job done. I had to buy mounting screws separately. for a whopping $0.38 at Home Depot. I'm confused as to why they just weren't included. I asked the seller for a picture of how to attach it to the projector; You directed me to a page in the user guide that explains the installation but doesn't provide specific information. At least it works and keeps the projector on the ceiling. But for the price I expected much better. I'd recommend getting a much cheaper universal mount if you're considering this.
