I read the dimensions of the case before ordering it but it is actually very small when it arrives. In comparison to my other tool boxes, it is simply very small. Well, that might be fine if you just want a small tool chest, but just know that it's very small. It also comes with a storage box and a top case that slides out of the top of the box further limiting space so I don't even use them. I was hoping to get a small power tool and parts in the box but it just didn't fit which is a disappointment. I think I'll use this for some sort of generic toolbox. This means I have a lot of tools in a lot of drawers, but if I want to replace an outlet, I can just toss the tools I need from my other drawers into this drawer instead of lugging around 3 large drawers for tools. At least I think I'll use it there now. Again, the biggest issue is its size. Apart from the size, everything else is very nice. The latches that hold the lid shut are metal, which oddly isn't that common anymore. They seem more and more plastic. The latches holding the top two storage compartments are plastic and they are very flimsy and I accidentally had a flap open so I won't be using them! The handle is covered in thick rubber, which is great. Again a decent toolbox, although not too small to be 100% useful.
