So this is a thicker 30 mama silk that will hopefully hold up better than thinner pillowcases. It was nice and shiny when I received it, but after the first wash in detergent meant for washing silk it lost most of its shine and suppleness. This is very disappointing as it was a relatively expensive case and I bought 2. I'm sure it will hold up and overall it's a decent case. But to be honest I have a cheaper 25 momme set from another manufacturer that has retained its shine after a few washes and I will probably return to them. The extra thickness in the Ravmix case isn't worth the extra cost as it quickly loses its glossy finish. Unfortunately I don't recommend it.
