As a Purigen version of Brightwell, I immediately understood why this product didn't gain wider acceptance: it's brown and should work in a reactor (not necessarily 100%). The Purigen darkens when its absorption power is depleted. This product is brown in color and must be tested to determine if it has been used up. However, if you only have one tank and are squeamish about regenerating Purigen into Bleach, this is still the way to go.
