Bought these for my son to skate with me. For the price, they're definitely okay. He has wide feet and finds them comfortable. They're not too heavy or bulky. It gains weight quickly so I would give these skates way higher marks than some of the other kids skates we have tried on which are more toy like and hard when they get off! We've used them on both our wood floors and exposed cement. Roll. Haven't tried it on an indoor ice rink yet. The laces snag on the Velcro so they frayed from day one, but I accept that given the overall quality and durability of these skates. They come with an extra set of laces, so that's a nice touch. I recommend.
