Accurate well made functional range finder

The PEAKPULSE KC600AG golf range finder was ordered to replace a range finder that was having some issues with the eyepiece setting that I use when playing golf. This rangefinder convinced me right from the start. It's lightweight, precise, snaps easily, and uses tilt technology. This range finder has several impressive features. First, it can be charged when the battery is low. So there is no longer a battery change. Batteries typically last about a year or more in a range finder so I'm very happy to know how long this rechargeable range finder lasts. Secondly, this rangefinder is equipped with tilt technology and thus compensates for the increase or decrease in altitude in order to determine the effective footage. This is especially important when playing golf, as effective yardage can mean the difference between 1-2 clubs. Of course, if you play golf in tournaments, this feature cannot be used due to the limitations of the rules. I have used this feature on another range finder and love the technology. Third, when the target is locked, the range finder will vibrate in your hand to let you know the distance is there and accurate. Fourth, this range finder is definitely accurate. I've been using the same range finder for several years. His results in yards have been scientifically proven to be accurate. So I tested this new rangefinder against the old one at 60, 100, and 225 yards. At 60 and 100 yards, there was no difference between actual and effective yards. At 225 yards there was a 1 yard difference between the two rangefinders at actual and effective range. Since 225 yards is the maximum range I use, a 1 yard deviation is considered negligible. on this range finder. The front button changes the mode and the yards/meters function. The back button is an on/off button that is pressed to determine the distance in yards. What I particularly like is that the on/off button only needs a light press to activate it. With other rangefinders, the buttons sometimes have to be pressed hard. It took me a few minutes to understand the difference as I clicked like other rangefinders. With this range finder, I lightly pressed the button to turn it on and lightly pressed it again to lock on the target. The scope of delivery of the rangefinder includes a user manual, a cleaning cloth and a lanyard. It also comes with a lightweight carry case. It's not the most durable rangefinder carrying case I've seen, but it's definitely adequate to protect the rangefinder. Conclusion: For the price, this is a good buy for an accurate range finder. The only question is how long the rangefinder battery needs to charge. It's definitely a "5" at the moment and I would order again.
