TOP radio for the price! I'm impressed

Let me first say that I have purchased a total of 60 H-777 radios to date and I have NO, that's '0', bad radios, batteries or chargers. Upon delivery. In fact, after using these radios (most of them) for over 4 months I have had absolutely no problems or issues. They have proven to be very high quality, very reliable and the CHEAPEST solution compared to the alternative. These radios serve almost every imaginable area, from maintenance, cleaning, hygiene, transport and personnel to security, fire/emergency services and construction site operations. We cover over 35 acres and while most radios are used daily, we have additional radios that are used as needed during our special events. The only performance issue we encountered was during the initial testing phase of the first ten radios I ordered. The stock antenna that comes with the radios only allowed us to achieve a radio to radio distance of about 3/10th of a mile. We decided to replace it with the Retevis RHD-701 radio antenna and are very happy with the end result. We have increased our range to just under 1 mile in an urban area using a radio in a one story concrete block building with an asphalt roof and another radio transmitter at ground level in a residential area. The antennas justify the small additional price. Be aware that belt clips aren't the most durable, some accessories aren't of the highest quality, and while radios are fairly durable, they have their drawbacks, and while Retevis seems to be making great strides in improving their products (and has ). successful with certain products in many areas), there are still ways. But folks, also be REALISTIC about what you're getting for the price. Come on, you pay an average of just over $11 for a radio that includes the radio, antenna, battery, charger, belt clip, and neck strap at a price of "$11 per radio." If you can't stomach it at this price point, these radios will have their limitations and as with ANY product you buy, weigh the good and bad against the ever-increasing demands of ever-shrinking budgets, then you're not the right person from the start to make such a purchase. For the money you can't go wrong and there's no way you can beat such an affordable price for what you're getting. Add to this EXCEPTIONAL, OUTSTANDING AND pleasant customer service (something all businesses can learn from this world class customer service company) and you have a win-win-win situation. Tasked with upgrading our old VHF system and equipment, I dreaded the daunting task of figuring out how to buy enough high-quality resources on an almost nonexistent budget, and Retevis responded to the need across the board. I'm a real fan of theirs, although they still have room for improvement in some areas, I'm sure they will achieve those goals. NOTE: This is my personal opinion, I was in no way paid or compensated for external influences. I have 30+ years experience with 911 Communications, 35+ years in Fire/Ambulance deployment and 22+ years in Security. I am not a qualified, certified radio technician and do not have a degree in radio communications. I have based my comments solely on my "life experience" and offer them to you in the hope that they will help you decide whether or not this product is right for you. Good luck in your endeavors and thank you for taking the time to read the long review.
