Overall, it's a pretty nice piece of stone. As the system had been entirely tested, there should not have been any issues with the socket. It is more affordable than the Intel Core i5-760, and it performs better in benchmarks and games. So, the option is unmistakable if you do not intend to engage in the practice of overclocking. Got pros: 1. Real 4 cores. 2. A rapid rate of the clock (relative to 2300 and other 4-core processors) 3. The amount of heat that is dissipated is significantly lower in comparison to AMD processors (and, therefore, the ability to assemble a quieter system) 4. Lastly, a performance that is adequate for absolutely all tasks, both everyday and not so everyday. Having this drawback: Unfortunately not without them being present. The primary one has hardly any acceleration at all. Invest in a "K" series computer if you intend to overclock it. In a nutshell, serious hobbyists and overclockers should look elsewhere. The second one utilizes a 1155 socket, whereas the preceding i5 series utilized a 1156 socket. As a result, in order to complete the procedure, you will need to purchase a mother.
