I received these scissors in exchange for my honest review. I have and use a variety of scissors for many different arts and crafts projects. There are several things I look for in my scissors. I have my favorite "goto" and everything else. I've tested these scissors on a few things that often cause problems - paper, burlap, tissue paper, silk chiffon. Many scissors don't work well with chiffon, particularly because either they aren't perfectly smooth or the screw that holds the two sides together isn't tight enough. They worked very well. I have to complete my review fairly quickly, so I can't speak for long-term durability. I can say I have no reason to believe they won't last long.
