I just bought this camera from a local store knowing I can return it for a refund. I will do it. The camera is a neat little device with a bright blue LED and spider legs, installation was a breeze. But then he stopped impressing me. This camera's low-light performance is dismal. Get ready for the spotlight to focus on your face! Motion capture is also very poor; every movement and the subject is terribly blurry. If there is any significant movement, the video will also be extremely choppy. One very bizarre thing I noticed about this camera is that the live image, I see NOTHING like the original image. I see oversaturation and a red cast and the output image looks correct; it's annoying and I really don't understand it. Basically, this camera is a decent cheap webcam, but if you don't like having your face burned by 3 inches of light in the sun, or plan on using it for anything other than video conferencing with limited bandwidth, BUY IT NOT !
