Review on 15 Stage Shower Filter Sediments by Scott Clayton

Improvement is required for correct operation

I've had several of these models from different brands over the years and they're all basically the same (less expensive, at least). To be honest I've probably never spent more than $30 a case on one of these). This was leaking at the seam where the housing for the filter opens - there is no rubber seal on this thread. I had to open it up and wrap all the included tape over the threads and it seems to be working now. I had to use two large pipe wrenches (I guess most people don't have two of them) to take it apart and put it back together tight enough not to leak or splash water everywhere.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
