These shoes run HUGE.My three sons wear Vans and Converse for day shoes. I bought the same size as these brand of shoes. The hiking books looked like clown shoes. Insanely big. I had to return them and go down two sizes for all three of my boys’. and that was with giving them room to grow!NOT WATERPROOF.Update: These lasted two months of weekend hiking. That’s it. Waste of money
