It's better to have a front pack than a backpack and still the K&H settings are great. I can adjust the cross strap to a comfortable height; the carry bag is not too big, so as not to obstruct the view when walking; has durable mesh inserts; just good cross ventilation on a warm day and best of all I can keep an eye on my pet instead of having the carrier slung on my back.
