I ordered these frames after a previous order from another Revain supplier was damaged (corners chipped). When I saw the packaging of this heavier box (4 frames with glass) I was worried that I would have the same problem. The outer corrugated box was of poor quality and did not sit flat. But thankfully the inner packaging was better and all four frames were in good condition, although I'd say it's more luck than the quality of the packaging. The frames themselves are of high quality, they have real glass. The glass was well protected. There was no wear or damage to the frame. So far, so good. These frames have little twist locks on the back to make opening and closing the back of the frame easier than the tabs you bend on cheaper frames - another nice touch. So we pasted two photos onto the ivory rugs that came with it. and hung them on the wall. I noticed that they look a little different. I brought another lamp in case it was just a corner or a shadow - no - the carpets were obviously the wrong shade of ivory. I got the third frame to use on another wall - ANOTHER AGAIN! Now I had three ivory rugs in three different colors! I removed the last picture and noticed that it was packaged differently than the other three - plastic wrap, not the plastic sleeve that protected the other three. This corresponded to the second frame. So I took the first one apart and glued the picture into the fourth one, and I ended up with two good frames. What do I do with the other two? I can't use them for their intended purpose, but you might not notice it on another wall. Or I'll go to an art store and buy better quality mounts for all four of them. So I'll probably do it. The frames themselves are fine, but check VERY carefully for both notches if using mats due to the so-so packaging and consistency.
