The frames are washable but the stitching in the corners is slightly white due to the glue on the black frames. I plan to use a black marker to touch it. The company sent a cute thank you card and a helpful tool kit for hanging the frames. There was a tiny spirit level and a tiny roulette wheel. I thought it was pretty cool as a bonus they didn't have to do. They were nicely packaged in a white box with thick foam panels separating them for shipping. The frames are also something I've never seen before, the easel on the back for the desktop display stays hidden in the back of the frame and stays there when you hang it. I always plug this easel in when I have a frame I want to hang on the wall, these frames can easily do both if I change my mind and take them off the wall. I was just a little disappointed, these inexpensive frames had all the benefits but they weren't perfect.
