Was hoping this would be partially assembled but no. You have to put everything together yourself. And the instructions didn't make much sense to me, so I ended up putting a few panels upside down, but I guess it doesn't matter because all the panels are made in such a way that there's no 'wrong' side that only is open. chipboard. It's pretty heavy and durable. I was afraid that the cats wouldn't want to sit on the sisal cushions, but they've gotten used to the tower. They've also already started using the scratching post, so I'm not sure how long it will be before I have to replace the sisal. All in all it was a great purchase. Excellent value for money and quality. Looks good and gives cats a new space to explore.
