Review on 🥘 Versatile Instant Pot Official Springform Pan: Perfectly Sized, 7.5-Inch Diameter, in Sleek Gray by Gerardo Goodson

We use our intellectual property all the time, but we didn't have a shared form. Decided it was time. And I chose the "official" IP version. Unfortunately, our first two attempts at using it (potatoes with scallops and lasagna) were unsuccessful. Very very disappointed. First, as many others have reported, the split pan is leaking. A lot of. I don't expect it to hold water like a bowl. But I think it should hold thick liquids (like condensed milk for potatoes and tomato-meat mix for lasagna). In both cases, I had to collect food on a baking sheet to keep the liquid from spilling all over the counter. And then even more leaked while cooking. Poorly. Second, and more seriously, the pallet is too large to fit securely in the metal strap that comes with the IP. I put the lasagne in the IP well, but getting it out was a disaster. Because the pallet was not securely attached to the sling, it slipped when I lifted it off the IP. Luckily, most of the lasagna ended up in a drip bag that ended up on the counter. But quite a bit went to the counter. What a mess! And it's not hard to imagine hot food falling on your arm or forearm, causing severe burns. Maybe another brand will work better but I'm sending this split pan back. I do NOT recommend this to others.
