Review on UPTab USB C DisplayPort Adapter Silver by Kim Stanley

I bought this to use with an Apple monitor. I have an old Apple Cinema Display that still works great. Yes, this is an Apple Cinema Mini Display, not a Thunderbolt model. I've been using the UPTab USB-C Type-C to Mini DisplayPort 4K @ 60Hz (Silver) Adapter for a while, but the adapter didn't work. The screen will dim/black out every few minutes. At first I thought the problem might be with the monitor or my MacBook, I tried another laptop and saw the same problem. If the monitor is connected directly to an old MacBook (no adapter), then there is no problem. So everything is fine with the monitor. I bought a new adapter and no problem. With all of these combinations, I came to the conclusion that the adapter was failing.
