Overall rating 2.5/5. It works eventually, but you have to press it a few times before it works properly. I use it to connect my Mac to an Acer desktop monitor. After switching it on once, the desktop appears on half of the monitor. After I disconnected and reconnected, it appears normally on the monitor. In general it works, but poor quality.

although I checked my computer model with the description provided. ensured my laptop is covered with this product. The adapter came and didn't work with my particular Mac Book so it was returned

I bought this to enable my gaming laptop to display HTC Vive Virtual Reality on our 55 inch TV. I've tried an HDMI splitter but it doesn't work. This adapter worked and now we can all see each other while playing in the VR world.

Now that Apple has tricked us into expanding the ports I thought it would make sense to buy an adapter with multiple ports including one HDMI port. I'm the guy that has 3 hard drives connected at the same time and the HDMI cable goes to the second monitor. The quality of my second monitor connected with an HDMI cable is excellent and the USB port is very convenient for my other hard drives. I like this product and I think for the price Apple has to pay it is a quality product.

I bought my first drawing tablet but since I have a Mac I had to buy an adapter. Apple has an identical adapter (but too expensive), so I went with the cheaper option. So far this is working very well. It doesn't crash my computer or tablet and works fine. It's definitely worth the price. Highly recommended!

I received it quickly. I connected the HDMI cable and then my phone. My phone screen was reflected on the LARGE screen. Using my phone charger cable I connected the adapter and it seemed like my phone (Samsung Galaxy x9+) with the extra power went into "mouse mode" where touching the phone screen would activate the mouse pointer on the big screen. Picture quality was good and I'm looking forward to it working with something better than a weak 2G or 3G signal. Still a learning experience for me.

Unfortunately you have to give at least one star for the rating. This product is waste of money. I ordered it for my daughter, who got a MacBook Pro for college, and oddly it didn't even have a USB port - that's a whole different complaint. She tried it at home to make sure it worked before she went to college and it worked, but now that she's there and tried using it again, NOTHING.
