There are many kits like this, especially at Revain, but I took a chance on this one and it didn't disappoint. You can assemble it with parts from your local hardware store (old working electrical box, bezels, etc.) for a little less, but this kit has a few advantages: The main reason I chose the kit was the power supply. . This kit essentially offers a built-in wall extension that is very easy to use. The male end attaches to a single grommet while the male end attaches easily with a plate and screws. For a la carte options you will need a loose extension cord or an extended TV power cord, which is another wire that needs to be fed through this hole. This kit is also convenient in that the entire cable is ready made and you don't need to make any connections to the bare wire. They even give you an extension to get from the bottom hub to the PSU. Power problem solved! Another problem was how many wires could be fed through these feedthroughs. I asked and they said 4 but I was able to get more - 4 HDMI cables, 1 bulky RCA cable and 1 smaller audio cable, all rated CL2 or CL3. All fit quite comfortably. It's not a lot of space, but there's actually more space if you remove the front panel (required to access the screws that attach to the wall). This extra space allows the cable ends to pass through the grommet and the bezel pushes the cable housings in a bit. So be sure to route all cables through the grommet before attaching the bezel. This set also looks great on the wall! After installation, it looks very stylish and modern. Much better than the bezels you can find at the hardware store. It was also fairly easy to install, the drywall drill bit cut a nice hole perfect for the grommets, and the grommets are very easy to screw securely into place. Overall this is a very complete and aesthetically pleasing kit, no problem!
