They offered me a full refund because I wasn't completely satisfied with the product (see original review below). I have accepted the return. That way I can just buy a second lamp and switch between them while the other one charges. This essentially doubles the battery capacity as I suggested as a product improvement. I'm upgrading my 3 star rating to 5 because of the excellent (and consistent) customer service. BTW the light still works well and is bright (when charged of course) in my kitchen above my stove and sink. i like light :-)==================================[ORIGINAL REVIEW:] Overall not bad and relatively bright light. I have it over the stove and sink in the kitchen. This product has 2 disadvantages. 1) The light is a little "fussy" in the sense that it turns on with little movement, but then turns off too quickly. I'm still working/doing stuff and moving around and the lights go out. You have to intentionally wave your hand or move your body a lot for it to turn back on. after a while it gets boring. I wish it stayed on for a minute or so; not 10-15 sec. 2) This thing needs a LOT more battery. I believe it's only a 700mah battery, which is equivalent to an AA battery. I would design it to have at least twice the battery capacity. At the end of the working week, the flashlight has to be recharged. Of course, a larger battery would likely increase the cost. Anyway, I'm glad I have the rechargeable version because I can only imagine how many batteries this thing is going to eat. particularly alkaline. As long as you're aware of these shortcomings, this should bode well for you. Oh before I forget. sometimes lights up when the room is light/bright, but it shouldn't. My light is ceiling mounted about 18 inches from an open window. Sometimes the light still comes on in daylight. Strange. So yes, not perfect, but still good for the price.
