Terrible statement

Hi guys! Where in that "simple guide" does it say you should connect the controller at the very top (i.e. the first F'ING cable you make)? The controller that comes in the box with the remote control which I thought was just a remote control... The fan is on, I did it all by myself in the vaulted ceiling and my 42 year old lady with her ass on the top step my stair is balancing just to know when it's READY and I pull out the remote that I need to pair with the controller that was OUT OF F'INGOh and MY SHADOW IS CLEARED
