I really like this 'floral light' style and have bought a few over the years. This is my first kit without batteries. that's a bit disappointing. The colors are nice, the number of LEDs is just right and the brightness is pretty good. The controller has many settings, and all of them are extremely uncomfortable. Most of them are variations of blinking, blinking, or strobing, and they work great if that's what you're into. All fades are overshadowed by pronounced PWM and odd timing. (Example: 5 seconds on, 1 second fade, repeat) None of these modes are subtle or relaxing. The always-on mode is good, but it seems to flicker at times. In addition, they also suffer from poor construction. I've had them for about a week and have already lost two LEDs. In general? They seem to be one of the few options if that's the style you're after. That's how it is. They're good enough in always-on mode, so I'll leave them and try to restore the dead LEDs. I'm not sure I would recommend them anyway.
