If between sizes, go one size up!
My friend got this blue swimsuit from SZ Medium (second photo), I just had to have the same one. I ordered it in burgundy in a large size but I don't really feel the difference between the blue and this red in size! Both feel secure and feel premium! I highly recommend this costume! I'm 5'5 and 140 lbs. I have a large size in red, light blue - medium!
